The Gustavus women's basketball team will travel to No. 9 Bethel on Thursday for an MIAC semifinal matchup at 7 p.m. The Gustis enter the contest 18-8 overall while the Royals are 24-1. 

Women’s Basketball Advances to MIAC Semis with Win Over Hamline

The Gustavus women's basketball team hosted Hamline in an MIAC quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday night and advanced to the semifinals with a 84-76 victory. With the win the Gusties move to 18-8 overall and 14-7 against MIAC opponents, while Hamline ends its season 15-11 overall and 10-11 in the MIAC.

Women’s Basketball Overcomes Deficit, Falters Late in Loss at Augsburg

Augsburg overcame a 12-point deficit late to defeat the Gustavus women's basketball team 77-74 Saturday. With the loss the Gusties finish the regular season 17-8 overall and 13-7 in the MIAC, while the Auggies finish 21-4 overall and 17-3 in the league. 

Track and Field Performs Well at MSU-Mankato

The Gustavus track and field teams competed at MSU-Mankato Friday night and saw a ton of top times  The men finished third of 10 teams, while the women placed seventh of nine. 

Men’s Hockey Uses Big Second Period to Defeat Bethel 6-1

The Gustavus men's hockey team used a five goal second period to take down Bethel 6-1 Friday. With the win the Gusties move to 11-10-3 overall and 7-6-2 in the MIAC, while the Royals fall to 6-14-4 overall and 5-6-4 in the conference. Gustavus also clinched a playoff spot with the win as Saint Mary's fell to Saint John's.

The Gustavus women's basketball team will close out its regular season Saturday in a 3 p.m. matchup with Augsburg in Minneapolis. Both teams have punched their ticket to the MIAC playoffs with the Gusties entering the contest 17-7 overall and 13-6 in the MIAC, while they Auggies are 20-4 overall and 16-3 in the conference.
