Second Season in Northwoods League has Different Look for Johnson

Christian Johnson ’21 (Buffalo) is no stranger to summer baseball. Gustavus’s ace pitcher spent last summer playing in the Northwoods League for the Kalamazoo Growlers. However as he takes his spot on the rubber for the Mankato Moondogs in 2020, the stands and dugout look slightly different.

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced its Scholar All-America Team for the 2020 spring semester. The Gustavus men and women were two of 789 programs from 461 institutions to receive recognition.

Six Women’s Golfers Recognized as WGCA All-America Scholars

Six Gustavus women’s golfers were recently named WGCA All-American Scholars – Erin Ericson (So., Onalaska, Wis.), Hannah Hubbart (Fy., Hastings), Emily Kratz (So., Edina), Kristin Martens (Fy., Sartell), Sydney Regalado (So., Rosemount), and Laurel Ward (Fy., Bozeman, Mt.).
