Four Gusties Garner MIAC Honors for Men’s Basketball

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its men’s basketball postseason awards Monday and four Gustavus student-athletes received recognition. Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca) was named to first-team All-Conference, Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna) was named to second-team, Spencer Swanson (Fy., Waconia) received All-First-Year honors, and Pete Lundquist (Sr., Rochester) eared Honorable Mention.

Women’s Hoops Draws Host Simpson to Open NCAA Tournament

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) on Monday afternoon announced the 64-team field for its Division III Women’s Basketball Championship and Gustavus (22-4) is selected to face No. 5-ranked Simpson (25-1) in the first round on Friday, March 4, hosted by Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.

Gusties Drop Final Indoors Match to Defending National Champions

Finishing a weekend with the nation’s best, the Gusties dropped a 5-0 contest to defending national champion Emory on Sunday morning. 

Women’s Basketball Wins MIAC Playoff Title 65-56 at Augsburg

For the first time in program history, Gustavus women's basketball is the champion of the MIAC postseason tournament. The Gusties, now 22-4 overall, defeated MIAC regular season champion Augsburg 65-56 on Sunday afternoon, punching their ticket to the NCAA Division III Tournament. 

Softball Goes 1-3 at Bethany Lutheran Invite

The Gustavus softball team kicked off its 2022 campaign Saturday and Sunday at the Bethany Kwik Trip Invite, played inside the Maverick All-Sports Dome, and came away with a 1-3 record against WIAC opponents.
