    Additional communication was sent to students (and forwarded to parents) about the possibility of a “shelter in place” order that may be issued by government authorities in the coming days. The President’s Cabinet held a virtual meeting with the Gustavus Board of Trustees to discuss the College’s response to COVID-19 and plans moving forward.

    The first two cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nicollet County. Additional information was sent to parents, alumni, and staff employees via email.     The President’s Cabinet and executive board of the College’s Infectious Disease Committee held a work session for operational planning. As announced yesterday, the College is suspending in-person classes and making the temporary transition to online learning. There will be no classes the week of March 16-20.
