  • Women’s Hockey Ties Augsburg 4-4, Olson Nets Hat Trick

    The Gustavus women’s hockey team Saturday faced a deficit for the first time in seven games, but was able to tie the score and finished in a 4-4 overtime tie against Augsburg. The No. 6-ranked Gusties move to 16-2-2 overall and 10-0-2 in the MIAC.

  • Women’s Basketball Wins Convincingly Over St. Kate’s

    The Gustavus women’s basketball team Saturday jumped out to a double digit lead in the first five minutes and never looked back in a 95-45 win over St. Catherine. The Gusties improve to 14-4 overall and 12-3 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats drop to 5-12 overall and 4-10 in the league.

    Despite a tough battle against the No. 3 Auggies the Gustavus men’s hockey team fell 2-1 on Friday night and drops to 5-11-2 and 0-6-1 in the MIAC. 

  • Women’s Hockey Blanks Augsburg 6-0

    No. 6 Gustavus women’s hockey picked up its NCAA-leading 13th shutout of the season Friday night, beating Augsburg 6-0 at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Gusties (16-2-1, 10-0-1 MIAC) also tie the program record for shutouts in a season, which has happened twice (2004-05, 2008-09).
