Men’s Hockey Wins 7-4 Over Lawrence University

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's hockey team looked to respond after taking a 5-2 opening night loss against the Lawrence University Vikings. The Gusties retaliated with a 7-4 win while newcomers Artem Korolev (Fy., Moscow, Russia) and Brandon McNamara (Fy., Andover) notched their first collegiate goals in the process. With the win, Gustavus moves to 1-1 overall.

Volleyball Shuts Out Saint Mary’s, Claims MIAC Championship

WINONA, Minn. - The Gustavus volleyball team won over St. Mary's in straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-21. With the victory Gustavus claims the MIAC regular season championship with the Royals following an overall record of 24-5 and a conference mark of 10-1. The Gusties have the head-to-head tiebreaker over Bethel as the No. 1 seed in the MIAC playoffs.

Women’s Soccer Shuts Out Macalester 1-0, Secures No. 4 Seed

The Gustavus women’s soccer team wrapped up its regular season Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 win over Macalester. The Gusties secured the No. 4 seed in the MIAC playoffs with their sixth consecutive conference win and will host No. 5 Augsburg at 2 p.m. Monday in the MIAC quarterfinals.

Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Macalester in Regular Season Closer

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's soccer team hosted their final conference game of the season against the Macalester Scots and took a 3-0 win, closing out the season 14-4 and 8-2 in the MIAC which proves solid #19 in the country and ties second in the conference.

Swim & Dive Wins Season Opening Dual Against Morningside

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams opened their season Saturday at Vic Gustafson Pool with a dual meet against Morningside College. The Gustie men won 108-88 and the Gustie women won 126-69.

Strong Defensive Effort Leads to 24-9 Football Win at Carleton

The Gustavus football team Saturday defeated Carleton 24-9 in a MIAC Northwoods Division matchup. The Gusties jumped out to a 16-0 lead in the first half and held the Knights to a season-low 261 total yards of offense.

Women’s Cross Country Takes Third, Men Fourth at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men's and women's cross country teams competed at the MIAC Championships on Saturday. The Gustie women took third out of 11 teams and the men took fourth out of 10 teams.
