Men’s Track & Field Takes Fourth at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men's track & field team took fourth place out of 11 teams Saturday at the MIAC Championships. The Gusties scored 88 points, while St. Thomas won the meet with 214.5 points. 

Women’s Track & Field Takes Third at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's track & field team placed third out of 12 teams Saturday at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. The Gusties scored 94 points, while St. Thomas won the meet with 137 points. 

Men’s Tennis Battles Back for 5-4 Win Over Denison at NCAA Regionals

The Gustavus men's tennis team erased a 4-3 deficit Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Championships as Daniel Fouchier (So., Nootdorp, Netherlands) and Jack Bergmeyer (So., Lincoln, Neb.) secured back-to-back three set victories for the 5-4 decision.

After day one of the MIAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which mostly featured non-scored preliminary races, Gustavus sits in third place out of 10 teams with 30 points. St. Thomas leads the meet with 71 points.

Baseball Wins Game One of MIAC Play-In Series 8-2 at Carleton

No. 24 Gustavus baseball claimed an 8-2 victory Friday at Carleton in the first game of the MIAC play-in series. Weston Lombard (Sr., Stillwater) improved his record to 7-0 with a complete game effort on the mound, moving the Gusties (25-4) one win away from securing the No. 2 seed and a first round bye in the MIAC playoffs.

Pedersen Ties for Eighth at NCAA Championships

Gustavus men’s golfer Jacob Pederson (Jr., Minnetonka) shot an even par 71 on the final day of the NCAA Division III Championships on Friday tying in 8th place out of 96 golfers with a final total of 74-75-71-71-291 (+8) .
