BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Jack Hanson (Jr., Minnetonka) led Gustavus to a 4-1 record last week by batting 11-for-22 (.500) with four runs, three home runs, and 10 runs batted in. Hanson started all five games at first base and posted a .966 fielding percentage with 28 putouts. Hanson started the week with a four-hit performance, which included a grand slam, in a 13-5 win against St. Scholastica. During the MIAC opener at Saint Mary’s, Hanson blasted two home runs in the second game of the doubleheader. Hanson posted three or more hits in three of the Gusties’ five games last week. For his performance, Hanson has been named MIAC Athlete of the Week.
