Volleyball Sweeps St. Catherine

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The No. 25  nationally ranked Gusties traveled to St. Catherine for a Wednesday night contest for a conference match where Gustavus took a 3-0 win over St. Catherine. With the win, the Gusties improve to 19-4 and 6-1 in the MIAC.

Holtan Named MIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Kate Holtan (Sr., Rochester) helped the Gusties to a trio of victories last week against Augsburg, St. Olaf, and UW-La Crosse. Holtan had five aces, passed a 2.5 rating, hit 0.258 with 43 kills, and had 46 digs and four blocks over 11 sets.

Volleyball Wins Two in Home Triangular

The Gustavus volleyball team hosted the St. Olaf Oles and UW-La Crosse Eagles for a trio of matches on Saturday. The Gusties won in their conference match against St. Olaf in a comeback 3-2 win, and in their non-conference match over UW-La Crosse in straight sets. With the win, the Gusties improve to 18-4 overall and 5-1 in the MIAC.

Holtan Named MIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Kate Holtan (Sr., Rochester) helped Gustavus defeat Carleton and nationally-ranked Bethel in straight sets this past weekend. Holtan started the weekend conference series against the Knights with 17 kills, five service aces, and a hitting efficiency of .625. She continued her momentum at Bethel with 19 kills, a hitting efficiency of .405, and a passing rating of 2.4.

Volleyball Wins Over No. 21 Bethel in Straight Sets

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Gustavus volleyball team traveled to Bethel on Saturday night and defeated the nationally ranked Royals to close out the weekend conference sweep in a 3-0 finish. With the win, the Gusties improve to 15-4 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC.

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Gustavus volleyball team won in straight sets over Carleton on Friday night (25-10, 25-20, 25-17). With the win, the Gusties improve to 14-4 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

WAVERLY, Iowa - The Gustavus volleyball team traveled to Waverly on Friday for a pair of non-conference matches and took a 3-1 loss against Wartburg and a win 3-0 over Coe. With the split, the Gusties move to 13-3 overall and remain 1-0 in the conference.
