Doug Huff (Philosophy, retired) has had his play, Emil’s Enemies, published in a German. The German translation was done by the Dietrich Bonhoeffer scholar Bernd Wannenwetsch. For readers of German, the German title is, Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Ein Lehrstuck vom Widerstand in zwei Akten.

Faculty Spotlight: Elizabeth Baer
Elizabeth Baer (English, retired) was invited to present a talk at the Pacific Lutheran University Powell-Heller Conference in October. The theme of the conference was “Africa and the Holocaust,” and Baer presented new research on the links between sexual violence in the Herero genocide and in the Nazi Holocaust.

Jeff A. Jenson (Library) was an invited speaker at the Swedish Genealogical Society of Minnesota’s annual Fall Conference. The event was held on October 14 at the Minnesota Genealogical Society in Mendota Heights.
