  • Football Hosts Saint John’s Saturday on Hall of Fame Day

    The Gustavus football team welcomes Saint John’s to Hollingsworth Field on Saturday for a 1 p.m. MIAC Northwoods Division game. The Gusties enter the matchup 5-1 overall, 3-1 in the MIAC, and 1-0 in the division, while the No. 5-ranked Johnnies are 6-0 overall, 4-0 in the league, and 1-0 in the division. 

  • Abegglen, Konde Earn MIAC Football Player of the Week Honors

    Gustavus football players Andrew Abegglen (Jr., Mound) and Rohee Konde (So., Hopkins) have been selected MIAC Football Players of the Week. Abegglen earns his third MIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honor, while Konde is the MIAC Offensive Player of the Week. 

  • Women’s Soccer Falls to UW-Eau Claire 3-1

    The Gustavus women’s soccer team Sunday afternoon lost 3-1 to UW-Eau Claire in the final non-conference game of the season. The Gusties drop to 7-8 overall and the Blugolds improve to 7-7-2.

  • Football Runs to 33-21 Win Over Hamline

    The Gustavus football team ran for 403 yards in a 33-21 victory over Hamline on Saturday. Rohee Konde (So., Hopkins) carried the load for the Gusties with 26 rushes for 207 yards and three touchdowns.   • Aney, Budde Wrap Up ITA Cup with Pair of Losses

    A day removed from upsetting the top seeded team in a third set breaker, Aney and Budde were close to advancing in the national doubles draw, but lost 7-6 (4), 7-5 to Esses and Raina of Emory. Aney and Budde then lost 6-2, 6-4 against Middlebury’s Harris and Laber. 

  • Cross Country Finishes Top-Five at UW-La Crosse

    Both the Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in the top-five at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational on Friday. The Gustie men took fifth out of 23 teams with a score of 131, while the women placed fourth out of 20 with 137 points.
