SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus track & field program hosted its first home indoor meet since 2006 on Saturday afternoon in the Lund Forum. The meet featured current Gusties, alums, and some of the general student body.

“Our team really enjoyed having this opportunity to compete at home for our indoor season,” Head Coach Aaron Lund said. “It was great seeing so many parents, families, friends and alumni here today, too. The energy was high and the team performed very well.

“A good number of our returners started off their season with marks that matched, or were better than, where they finished last year. This is a really good sign that great things are coming this season. It testament to their desire to succeed, hard work and commitment to this team.”
