Gustavus Finishes 38th in Learfield Directors’ Cup Division III Standings

The final standings for the 2021-22 Learfield Directors' Cup in NCAA Division III were released Thursday and Gustavus finished in 38th place out of 326 institutions. Gustavus had nine teams compete in the NCAA postseason, accumulating 456 points in the Directors' Cup.

The 2022 CoSIDA Academic All-America Women’s At-Large Teams were announced Wednesday and Gustavus gymnast Brooke Merila (Sr., St. Michael) and hockey player Kayla Vrieze (Sr., Eagan) were selected First and Second Team Academic All-America, respectively. Academic All-America Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
