SAINT PETER, Minn. – Gustavus men’s tennis student-athletes Nick Aney (Sr., Rochester), Alex Budde (Jr., Menomonee Falls, Wis.), and Indraneel Raut (Sr., Oshkosh, Wis.) will compete at the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championship on May 27-29 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. Aney and Budde will compete in the doubles draw, while Raut will compete in singles.
Aney and Budde, who earned All-America status last season at the NCAA Championship after reaching the semifinals, have their first round match at 3 p.m. CST Friday against Jack Bulger and Tim Cianciola of Denison, who are seeded No. 4 in the 16-team draw.
Raut opens the first round against Ian Yi of Kalamazoo at 7:45 a.m. Friday. The singles draw features 32 players.
