SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus track teams concluded regular season of competition on Saturday afternoon in the St. Olaf Open. The day was highlighted by the performance of Isaiah Subah, Dylan Gast, Seth Zeitchick, and Wyatt Quiring in the 4×100 relay with a time of 42.68 to place second. The time ranks second in the MIAC.
“Isaiah got us started and came out of the blocks aggressive,” said Head Coach Aaron Lund “Dylan ran the backstretch for the first time in his career and did great competing against others on that leg. Seth and Wyatt had great execution on their exchange and put us in a good position to finish strong. Wyatt closed extremely well today and they solidified their spot at second heading into the conference championships.”
Isaiah Subah placed ninth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.89 and Dylan Gast placed sixth in the 800m clocking a 2:00.26 in the finals
Alli Graff and Jenna Bunker tied in sixth place with marks of 2.67m in the pole vault.
Ben Urbaniak also placed sixth in the pole vault, recording a 3.68m while Erik Walker’s 3.38m ranked ninth.
