Miramar Beach, Fla. – The Gustavus women’s golf team carded a three round score of 968 (332-320-316) to place 17th out of 20 teams following their final day of Golfweek. Emory University won the tournament with a final score of 899 (+35).
“Today the gals played well turning in our best round of the tournament,” said Coach Randall Stuckey. “Our entire fall season we’ve played our best when we were relaxed, confident, and committed to our shots, and today it felt like they were back. So proud of their accomplishments this fall including some school records in scoring. I would rate it as a fabulous fall season. Can’t wait for the spring.”
Emily Kratz (Sr., Edina) led the Gusties carding a 231 after three rounds to place 33rd, followed by Erin Ericson (Sr., Onalaska, Wis.) with a 243. Annika Reierson (So., Delano) carded a 245, while Laurel Ward (Jr., Bozeman, Mont.) had a final score of 250, Sydney Regalado (Sr., Rosemount) rounded out the Gustie scores with a 253.
The Gusties have concluded the Fall 2021 season and return to competition in the Spring of 2022.
