Kratz in 24th on Moving Day

Miramar Beach, Fla. – The Gustavus women’s golf team carded a 320 in the second round of the Golfweek DIII Invite. Combined with their Sunday score of 332, the Gusties are in 18th with a 652. Centre College leads the tournament with a total round score of 601.

“Today was a bit frustrating day for the girls because we shot better as a team but move down in the standings,” said Coach Randall Stuckey. “Our main goal was to post a lower score and we accomplished that. Emily Kratz continued to play some really good golf and we’re looking for the rest to step up and finish in a strong position in our final round tomorrow. The best part of our day was the effort and determination they showed during some tough situations, they’ve been a great group to work with.

Emily Kratz is tied in 24th out of 108 golfers, 78-75-153 (+9). Erin Ericson shot 85-78-163, while Annika Reierson carded 86-80-166. Laurel Ward has posted scores of 84-87-171 and Sydney Regalado carded 85-87-172.

The Gusties tee off in the final round on Tuesday.
