NORMAN, Okla. — Division III PING All-Region honorees were announced Thursday afternoon by the GCAA and Jacob Pedersen (Jr., Minnetonka) earned the nod for Gustavus for the third consecutive season. A total of 97 players across six regions – Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central, and West – earned all-region honors for 2021.
Pedersen earns the award following an impressive 8th place finish in the NCAA Championship as the first Gustie to make the tournament appearance since 2013. Pedersen boasted a solid spring season leading the Gusties with a 72.8 stroke average with four top-five finishes, including one medalist honor in five events. Additionally, Pedersen earned All-Conference honors for the third consecutive year after placing fifth at the MIAC Championships.
