Gustie Baseball Field Renovation to be Completed this Summer

The Gustavus baseball field renovation project will be completed in the coming months as construction of Phase Two begins this summer. Highlights of the second phase include a 350-seat covered grandstand, enclosed press boxes, patio-style viewing areas, state-of-the-art sound system, and improved live broadcast elements.

Senior Spotlight: Jonathan Hickox-Young

President Bergman announced a phased return-to-work plan for Gustavus faculty and staff. The final exam period starts tomorrow and runs through Tuesday, May 26.

O’Neil, Raut Selected CoSIDA Academic All-District

Gustavus men’s tennis student-athletes Michael O’Neil (Sr., Edina) and Indraneel Raut (So., Oshkosh, Wis.) have been selected to the 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team, which recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Former Men’s Basketball Assistant Dave Flom `95 Named National Coach of the Year

The transition from a college player who, in Flom’s words, “sat at the very, very end of the bench,” to a student assistant coach proved to be his turning point to a future full of professional success. Fast forward 27 years and last week Flom was named the National High School Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year.
