Employees continue to transition to work-from-home practices in preparation for Minnesota’s “Stay at Home” order, which goes into effect March 27 at 11:59 p.m. Approximately 75 students remain on campus and are being supported with essential services and limited on-campus staff.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced a “Stay at Home” order that will be in effect from 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 27 through 5 p.m. on Friday, April 10. Gustavus Technology Services (GTS) continues to support faculty and staff in transitioning to online teaching and work-from-home and has posted a blog on the GTS website with more information. Additional communication was sent to students (and forwarded to parents) about the possibility of a “shelter in place” order that may be issued by government authorities in the coming days. The President’s Cabinet held a virtual meeting with the Gustavus Board of Trustees to discuss the College’s response to COVID-19 and plans moving forward.
