Darío Sánchez-González (Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures) recently taught a class in Shana Komitee’s course “Vibrant Legacies in Theater” at the Juilliard School in New York City. The class, “Federico García Lorca: Half a Loaf of Bread and a Book in a Wooden Basket,” focused on the Spanish poet and playwright’s views on artistic inspiration and the role of theater in shaping public culture. “Vibrant Legacies in Theater” is one of the classes taken by first-year students in the drama program at Juilliard.
