Women’s Soccer Season Ends in Heartbreaking 1-0 Loss to Macalester

The Gustavus women’s soccer team entered Saturday’s game needing a win or a tie over Macalester to keep playoff hopes alive. Unfortunately for the Gusties, a goal from Macalester’s Ella Short would foil the Gusties’ post-season hopes.

Cross Country Competes at MIAC Championships

The men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the MIAC Championships Saturday morning, with the women’s team finishing fifth of the 12 MIAC competitors, while the men finished seventh of 11.

Gusties Open Season With 1-0 Victory

The Gustavus women’s hockey team opened its season Friday night, hosting Augsburg for a rare non-conference matchup between the two teams. A goal from Clara Billings would give the Gusties a 1-0 advantage late in the second period and would be enough to hold off the Auggies for the Gusties’ first victory of the season.

No. 15 Gusties Post 3-0 Sweep of St. Scholastica

The Gusties, playing their third-straight and final road match of the year, proved to be too much for the Saints to handle, dealing St. Scholastica a 3-0 setback. With the win, the Gusties extend their winning streak to 12 and conference record to 10-0.
