Ward shot an 86-80-166, while Reierson shot an 84-82-166. Kristin Martens (Sr., Sartell) tied for 79th at 91-77-168 and Zada Olig (Sr., Wayzata) tied for 91st at 92-79-171.

The women responded tremendously today with a great round of golf,” Assistant Coach Randy Stuckey said. “We played through rain through the entire round yesterday and we didn’t bring our best game to the course. They showed their resiliency with very good scores from everyone. From the results of the last two weekends we need to learn to start playing well during the first round and not waiting for day two.”

The Gusties compete next weekend at the D3 Classic in Hastings, Minn.
