Ericson, Kratz, Regalado Named MIAC Women’s Golf All-Conference

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women’s golf postseason awards on Monday and three Gusties received recognition. Seniors Erin Ericson (Onalaska, Wis.), Emily Kratz (Edina), and Sydney Regalado (Rosemount) were all named to the All-Conference Team. 

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women’s golf postseason awards on Monday and three Gusties received recognition. Seniors Erin Ericson (Onalaska, Wis.), Emily Kratz (Edina), and Sydney Regalado (Rosemount) were all named to the All-Conference Team.

Ericson, who earns her third All-Conference honor, played in 19.5 rounds in the 2021-22 season with a 79.2 stroke average. Playing in 10 events this year, Ericson finished in the top-10 twice, including a runner-up finish at the 2021 MIAC Championships. She finishes her career with an 80.1 average in 58.5 rounds. Ericson was also named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Kratz, also a three-time All-MIAC selection, led the Gusties this season with a 77.5 average in 19.5 rounds. Kratz finished in the top-10 six times this year, including two medalist honors after playing in 10 events. Kratz earned MIAC All-Championship Team honors with a seventh place finish at the conference meet this season. She finishes her career with a 79.9 average in 77.5 rounds.

Regalado, garnering her second All-Conference nod, averaged 81.3 this season in 19.5 rounds and 10 events. Regalado finished in the top-10 three times. She finishes her career with an 82.2 average in 58.5 rounds.

Laurel Ward (Jr., Bozeman, Mont.) was named All-Conference honorable mention after posting an 81.1 average in 19.5 rounds. She finished in the top-10 twice.
