Men’s Tennis Beats Carleton 7-2

SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s tennis team defeated the Carleton Knights 7-2 in its final home match of the regular season and improve to 20-10 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC. 

SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s tennis team defeated the Carleton Knights 7-2 in its final home match of the regular season and improve to 20-10 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC.

“The guys were fantastic today,” said Head Coach Tommy Valentini. “We played very solid in the doubles to get out to the 3-0 lead. Josh and Drew gave us a huge lift at number 3. Sourabh and Daniel showed a lot of poise and played a great breaker at 2, and Nick and Alex handled the big moments well at 1 to come through.”

We had great energy, support and trust all day for our entire group and put together a total team effort against a very talented opposition.”
