Donnelly Breaks School Record in 800 M

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Two from the Gustavus women's track and field team set the highest marks at Pacific Lutheran on Saturday. Elizabeth Donnelly (Sr., Langely, Wash.) set a new record in the 800 M with a time of 2:10.56, beating out the previous time of 2:12.31 set by Ashley Cronen in 2006. Her time also ranks best in NCAA DIII to start the outdoor season. Birgen Nelson (So., Edina) also had top performances on the NCAA level, ranking first in the 100 M hurdles (14.06) and second in the 400 hurdles (1:03.23).

Merila and Redding Earn All-American at NCGA Championships, Redding Breaks Her Own Program Bars Record

ITHACA, N.Y. - After competing on the national level, Brooke Merila (Sr., St. Michael) and Sophia Redding (Sr., Saint Paul) came away with All-American honors at the NCGA Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Women’s Tennis Wins Over MSU 5-2 and SMSU 7-0

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus women's tennis team returned to campus with a 5-2 opening win over neighbor MSU-Mankato before blanking the SMSU Mustangs 7-0. With the wins, the Gusties improve to 8-5 overall.

Gymnastics National Championship Preview

ITHACA, N.Y. - Brooke Merila (Sr., St. Michael) and Sophia Redding (Sr., Saint Paul) will represent the Gustavus gymnastics team in the NCGA National Championship on Saturday. Merila has been selected as a competitor in the all-around, while Redding will compete on the bars. 

Women’s Tennis Falls 5-4 to Wellesley

TRINITY, Texas - In a battle between two ranked teams, the No. 30 Gusties fell to No. 40 Wellesley in tie breakers 5-4. With the loss, the Gusties move to a 6-5 on the season.
