Men’s Hockey Downed 5-3 to Finish Superior Showdown

Playing in the championship game of the Superior Showdown on Friday night, the Gustavus men's hockey team suffered a 5-3 loss to Marian at Siinto S. Wessman Arena. 

Men’s Hoops Loses on Buzzer Beater Against Pacific Lutheran

For the second game in a row, the Gustavus men's basketball team played in a one-possession battle down to the final second and this time ended up on the wrong side of a three-point buzzer beater, losing 64-61 to Pacific Lutheran on Friday.

Gusties Dominate Second Half, Defeat Luther 84-50

The Gustavus women’s basketball team — who headed into the two-week winter break on a three-game winning streak — stayed red hot after the hiatus, rolling to a non-conference victory over Luther, 84-50. A strong second half drove the victory, as the Gusties put up a scoring run of 16 points in the third and built their lead to as many as 36 in the fourth.
