“The women continued their great play that they’ve had this fall during the final round of the MIAC championship,” said Coach Randall Stuckey. “Although we started a bit more tight than we had been they turned around their play and had an incredible back nine. They started to have some more fun and their swings were more confident. We couldn’t be more proud of their effort and patience. Second place in the conference is very special for the team but in particular are three seniors, Erin Ericson, Emily Kratz, and Sydney Regalado. It was wonderful to see Erin Ericson place runner-up individually and Emily Kratz in seventh place. Together the gals have given each other a wonderful gift that they will remember for a lifetime.”
Gustavus wraps up the fall season Oct. 17-19 at the Golfweek Invitational in Destin, Fla.
