10 Swimmers Named CSCAA All-America

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently released its All-America honors and 10 Gustavus swimmers received recognition.

SAINT PETER, Minn. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently released its All-America honors and 10 Gustavus swimmers received recognition.

Due to the cancellation of their respective national championships, selection procedures were adjusted for the season. Swimming selections were made on the basis of verified performances in bona-fide competition submitted by their respective coaches.

Gustie men on the CSCAA All-America Team include Matthew Allison (Sr., Grand Rapids) in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, Andrew Becker (So., Northfield) in the 50 and 100 free, and the 200 and 400 free relays, Nolan Larson (Sr., West Des Moines, Iowa) in the 200 and 400 free relays, 200 butterfly, and the 400 IM, Peyton Richardson (Fy., Crystal Lake) in the 400 IM, and Kieran Ripken (Fy., Blaine) in the 200 and 400 free relays.

Gustie women on the CSCAA All-America Team include Hailey Auran (Sr., Saint Paul) in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, Amelia Bjorklund (Sr., Bloomington) in the 200 free relay, Ellen Hofstede (So., Hopkins) in the 50 and 100 free, and 200 free relay, Lucy Peterson (Fy., Saint Paul) in the 200 free relay, and Abby Yartz (So., Bemidji) in the 200 free relay.
