“The gals came out and played a very solid round today,” said Coach Randall Stuckey. “You could tell in their pre-round routine that they were focused and ready to go. Their attitude effort and commitment was there the whole round and they were a solid team encouraging everyone and keeping them focused on the shots ahead. We had several fantastic approach shots and we made a lot of putts to help our score. I like the position we are in after day one and hoping we can do the same for our second round tomorrow.”
