EDEN PRARIE, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s tennis team suffered its first loss of the season at St. Thomas on Sunday in a 5-4 final. The Gusties now move to 13-1 overall and 6-1 in the conference.
“It was definitely our best match of the year,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “St. Thomas is a very good team and very deserving of a conference championship. I know the team learned a lot about themselves and what they need to do going forward. We hope that we get a shot to see them in the playoffs at some point.”
