NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday announced its cross country academic awards and both the Gustavus men’s and women’s teams were recognized.
Both teams earned All-Academic Team honors. The Gustie men earned All-Academic with a 3.48 team GPA, while the women boasted a 3.78 GPA. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
