Ericson Named to WGCA All-Region Team

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced the 2019-20 WGCA All-Region Teams for Division III Women’s Collegiate Golf on Monday and Gustavus sophomore Erin Ericson (So., Onalaska, Wis.) was named to the 12-member All-Central Region Team. 

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced the 2019-20 WGCA All-Region Teams for Division III Women’s Collegiate Golf on Monday and Gustavus sophomore Erin Ericson (So., Onalaska, Wis.) was named to the 12-member All-Central Region Team. 

In a year that saw the Gusties compete only during the fall season, Ericson was consistently the team’s No. 1 player after averaging 78.4 strokes per round. Ericson earned medalist honors out of 90 golfers at the Division III Classic on Sept. 14-15 after carding a personal best 147, which tied for second lowest 36-hole total in program history. She also tied for third out of 72 to start the season at the Saint Benedict Invite and earned All-Championship Team honors by taking sixth at the MIAC Championships.
