Michelle Tanner ’11 recently took a new job and is now a Business Program Manager at UnitedHealthcare Pharmacy in Eden Prairie, MN. UHC Pharmacy is a part of UnitedHealth Group.
In January, Janey R. Helland ’11 traveled to Tanzania, Africa for a training symposium for breast and cervical cancer as part of her clinical rotation as a student at St. Kate’s Physical Assistant program. She also had the opportunity to visit two hospitals for patient care.
Natalie Lindberg ’11 and Steve Lundberg ’11 were married at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka on September 15th, 2015. There were all the Gusties in the wedding party, including the bride’s sister Marlee ’14. The Gustie Rouser was sung quite a few times at the reception as even the bride’s grandmother is a Gustie alum.
Ryan Michaelis ’10 and Allie Schulte Michaelis ’11 welcomed their son, Blake Allen Michaelis on September 20th, 2015!
Heidi Wensink Cooley ’11 is celebrating one year at Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia. She is currently teaching Chemistry and Biology, while also working towards an ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) certification through the University of Georgia.
Brittany Richardson ’11 and Seth Wisner ’11 were married on June 27, 2015 in Christ Chapel. Amy Schroeder ’11, Tanner Winslow ’11, and Kevin Dumke ’11 were all a part of the wedding party.
Rachel Craig ’11 received her Masters of Library and Information Science in May 2015. She also started a job as an E-Learning Content Specialist at Allen Edmonds Shoe Corporation in June 2015.
A group of Gustavus alumni traveled to the Boundary Waters this past summer! The group included Brandon Hirdler ’12, Erick Kunkel ’12, Ben Meyer ’12, Scott Broady ’09, Ryan Dobbs ’09, Blake Gust ’13, and Peter Rocky ’11.
Laura Russell ’11 completed her program requirements at Saint Mary’s University in August and now has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling & Psychological Services. She is beginning the two-year process of becoming a licensed mental health professional. In June, she started working at Fraser as an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Mental Health Practitioner.
