Kathy Lund Dean’s (Business and Economics) book “How to Become an Effective Journal Editor in Business and Management: A Guide to Developing Authors,” is now available from Edward Elgar press. The book shares what Kathy learned over her 20 years of editorial work, not the least of which is that editors’ work goes well beyond evaluating individual manuscripts for publication. Part of Elgar’s practical “How To” series, the central thesis is that when editors help authors build their scholarship capacity and skill, research quality improves across the entire domain.
