LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) recently honored 12 Gustavus softball student-athletes as Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes for the 2022-23 academic year – Greta Dahlen (So., West Des Moines), Grace Gardner (Fy., Big Lake), Olivia Guggenberger (Fy., Rosemount), Marah Hulke (Fy., Courtland), Taylor Katzenmeyer (Fy., Hopkins), Lauren Lambert (Fy., Woodbury), Madi Mueller (Jr., North Mankato), Carly Nelson (Fy., Lake Crystal), Caitlin Olafsson (Fy., Woodbury), Piper Otto (Jr., Brooklyn Park), Kayla Ruud (Sr., Savage), and Chloe Smallfield (So., Papillion, Neb.).
A total of 2,369 Division III softball student-athletes received the honor, maintaining at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
