WEEKLY TIP
Moving Away from Weekly Updates…Considering the sustained low rate of COVID-19 numbers on campus and the College’s recent announcement to move to COVID Level 0, Gustavus is suspending the weekly delivery of COVID-19 update emails. Moving forward, pandemic-related messaging from the College’s COVID-19 Response Leadership Team and Cabinet will be sent as needed rather than every Tuesday.
Testing Options…As Gustavus moves away from open mass testing in Lund Center, several options remain for students, faculty, and staff to get tested both on and off campus. The Gustavus Health Service will continue to hold walk-in testing throughout the spring. Visit the COVID-19 webpage to see Health Service testing hours and additional on- and off-campus testing resources.
Follow On-Campus Case Numbers…On-campus COVID-19 case numbers will continue to be updated and posted on Tuesday and Friday mornings on the College’s COVID-19 Dashboard History page.
Moving Forward…The College will continue to update members of the community as necessary if conditions change or on-campus mitigation strategies are updated. If you have individual questions, please consult the COVID-19 website or email g-covidresponse@gustavus.edu.

This data set is meant to encompass the on-campus impact of COVID-19 by counting cases where a person may have been on campus while infectious. For example, students who are living at home or employees who are working remotely and not visiting campus will not be counted in these on-campus numbers. This information, along with statistics from the 2020-2021 academic year, is also available for viewing on the College’s COVID-19 Dashboard History page.
