COVID-19 Weekly Update: March 19, 2021

TO: The Gustavus Community

FROM: COVID-19 Response Leadership Team

SUBJECT: COVID-19 Weekly Update

DATE: March 19, 2021

WEEKLY TIP
If you’ve received the vaccine and are at least two weeks past your last dose, you do not have to quarantine if you’re exposed to someone with COVID-19. You should still get tested if you have COVID symptoms, as COVID-19 may still be spread by vaccinated individuals.
Gustavus COVID safety protocols do not change for those who have been vaccinated. Even after an individual has received two doses of the vaccine, it is important that they continue to follow all public health guidance to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This includes staying home when sick, wearing a mask, staying six (6) feet from others, washing your hands, following isolation requirements, and getting tested when needed.

This information is also available for viewing on the College’s COVID-19 Dashboard.
