Part of the summer was used to improve wireless access in the College’s outdoor spaces. The areas from Three Flags to Eckman Mall and Sesquicentennial Plaza, as well as the open spaces surrounding the newly expanded Nobel Hall, extending to the area northwest of Pittman Hall and the Melva Lind Interpretive Center, should see noticeable improvements. The field south of Southwest Hall, the areas between Beck and Olin Halls, those north of the football stadium, and the parking lot by the campus composting facility have also been upgraded.
Although there are a few more access points left to install, the included map has been created to illustrate the recent and upcoming additions, as well as the approximate coverage area.
