Temporary Access to Adobe Creative Cloud Products on Your Personal Device

As a result of campus closure, student and employee access to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms is not available. While we are still offering access through our virtual environments, Gustavus has worked with Adobe to provide temporary access for students and employees directly on their devices.  Installing the applications directly on your device will provide a better experience. Please follow the instructions below to enable access to Creative Cloud Apps on your personal device.  Please note that temporary licenses are currently granted access through May 31, 2020.

How to install Adobe Creative Cloud Apps

Visit https://creativecloud.adobe.com and use your Gustavus email address to sign in.

If prompted, select Company or School Account and then enter your password. Or provide your credentials at the Gustavus login screen.

From the Creative Cloud website, browse for and download your desired app. Click Apps on the top of the page to view all apps.  We recommend installing the Adobe Creative Cloud client first; you can use this app to install or update any of the other Creative Cloud apps you want on your machine.

For more information on how to download or install apps, see Download and Install Creative Cloud apps.

Common Issues

I SEE A TRIAL PROMPT WHEN I SIGN IN TO ACROBAT DC ON MY COMPUTER.

When you install and launch Acrobat DC on a Windows computer and sign in, if you see a Try or Buy prompt, do the following:

  1. Exit Acrobat DC, if it is running.
  2. Download the AcrobatStudentAccess.zip file and extract it on your computer.
  3. Right-click the included EXE file and choose Run as Administrator. (Click yes or enter your computer password, if prompted)
  4. Start Acrobat DC. It should now launch without asking you to sign in.
