Men’s Basketball Holds Off Hot Shooting Pipers

The Gustavus men's basketball team was able to handle a three-point barrage in the first half by Hamline to secure an 80-72 victory. With the win the Gusties move to 9-11 overall and 6-9 in MIAC play while the Pipers fall to 9-11 overall and 6-9 in league play.

Defense Shines on the Road, Women’s Basketball Beats Hamline 56-38

For the second time this season, the Gustavus women’s basketball team held its opponent under 40 points in a decisive 56-38 win at Hamline on Thursday night. The Gusties held the Pipers to 31 percent shooting and forced 20 turnovers to improve to 11-9 overall and 8-5 in the MIAC.

2019 Men’s Tennis Preview

The Gustavus men’s tennis team, which starts the season ranked No. 8 in the nation according to the Jan. 15 ITA poll, is set to begin its 2019 spring season with a new look and is excited for the challenges that lie ahead.

Women’s Basketball Plays at Hamline Thursday

The Gustavus women’s basketball team travels to Hamline on Thursday for a 7 p.m. MIAC matchup. The Gusties enter the game 10-9 overall and 7-5 in the MIAC, while the Pipers are 11-8 overall and 6-6 in the league.

Men’s Basketball Set for Thursday Contest with Hamline

The Gustavus men's basketball team will host Hamline on Thursday night for a 7 p.m. contest.

CLOSED: Gustavus to Reopen Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Classes are canceled and the College is closed on Wednesday, January 30. Limited services will continue.

Ardy, Malo Named WIAC Gymnasts of the Week

Gustavus senior student-athletes Amanda Malo (Greenwood, Minn.) and Samantha Ardy (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Gymnastics Athletes of the Week. Malo is the Specialist of the Week and Ardy is the All-Around Gymnast of the Week. 

Gustavus Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble Launch Colorado Tour

The Gustavus Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Ruth Lin and Dr. Dave Stamps, embark February 1 on a Colorado tour, traveling through South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa en route to Denver, Fort Collins and Loveland

Wednesday Basketball Games Postponed to Thursday

Due to forecast temperatures well below zero and dangerous wind chill, the Gustavus men’s and women’s basketball games against Hamline on Wednesday night have been postponed to Thursday. The Gustie men will host the Pipers on Thursday night, while the women will travel to Saint Paul – both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
