Men’s Hockey Settles for Series Split With Aurora

The Gustavus men's hockey team lost 4-2 to Aurora on Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Gusties drop to 5-7-1 overall with the series split. 

Women’s Hoops Drops Back and Forth Game at Coe

In a back and forth affair Saturday, the Gustavus women’s basketball team lost 59-57 at Coe College. The Gusties erased a 13-point third quarter deficit and traded the lead with Coe six times in the fourth quarter, but the Kohawks were able to come out on top in the end.

Rezac’s Three at Buzzer Leads to Men’s Basketball Overtime Win at Morris

The men's basketball team traveled to Minnesota-Morris on Saturday afternoon and took home the 74-71 victory.

Men’s Hockey Shuts Out Aurora 3-0

Chris Amsden (Sr., Saint Peter, Minn.) tied a personal best 40 saves to help the Gustavus men’s hockey team record a 3-0 shutout over Aurora on Friday night. The Gusties move to 5-6-1 overall while the Spartans drop to 7-5.

Men’s Basketball Back in Action Saturday Versus Morris

The Gustavus men's basketball team will come back from Christmas break Saturday and head to Morris, Minn. for a 1 p.m. contest with the University of Minnesota-Morris.

Women’s Basketball Travels to Coe Saturday

The Gustavus women’s basketball team returns to the hardwood Saturday afternoon after enjoying more than two weeks off for the holiday break as it takes on Coe College. Tipoff between the Gusties (6-4) and Kohawks (6-4) is 2 p.m. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Men’s Hockey Hosts Aurora This Weekend

After a three-week break, the Gustavus men’s hockey team returns to the ice this weekend for a home series against Aurora. Friday’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink begins at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday’s game starts at 3:05 p.m. The Gusties enter the series 4-6-1 overall while the Spartans are 7-4.
