Women’s Basketball Cruises To 79-45 Win Over Coe

The Gustavus women’s basketball team wrapped up a six-game home stand Friday evening with a convincing 79-45 win over Coe College in non-conference action. The win moves the Gusties to 8-1 overall while Coe drops to 3-8.

Women’s Soccer Earns Team Ethics And Sportsmanship Award

United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award recipients for college soccer programs competing in the 2017 fall season and Gustavus was honored at the bronze level. The award recognizes teams for exhibiting fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game.

Women’s Basketball Hosts Coe Friday

The Gustavus women’s basketball team hosts Coe College at 5 p.m. Friday in a non-conference game. The Gusties are 7-1 overall and 3-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Kohawks are 3-7 overall and 1-2 in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
